Sabroll Leaf Nutrient Concentrate for Broadacre Use

Pasture and Crops
Sabroll Leaf Nutrient Concentrate is a broad spectrum leaf nutrient, in fully chelated form, which will quickly increase plant nutrition with its high energy and mineral components. Directions for Broadacre Crop Foliar Application: Rate: Use a solution ‘mix’ of 5 mls of Sabroll Leaf Nutrient Concentrate per litre of water.
  1. Brassicas: First Application: apply 50 litres of ‘mix’ per hectare before afer sowing. Second Application: apply 75 litres of ‘mix’ per hectare six (6) weeks after sowing. Third Application: apply 75 litres of ‘mix’ per hectare eight (8) weeks after sowing.
  2. Cereal Crops: First Application: apply 35 litres of ‘mix’ per hectare four (4) weeks after sowing. Second Application: apply 50 litres of ‘mix’ per hectare eight (8) weeks after sowing.
  3. Lucerne: First Application: apply 75 litres of ‘mix’ per hectare before first cut. Further Applications: apply 50 litres of ‘mix’ per hectare seven (7) days after each cut.
Sabroll Leaf Nutrient Concentrate can be applied in the heat of day, as the product responds well to light, be it artiuficial or solar based. The product should be applied as a mist, using a low pressure setting of 45. Do not atomise. Mist spray from a distance of 60-100 mm from leaf. Do not apply to water stressed plants.

Handy Hint
The application of Sabroll Leaf Nutrient will counter the adverse effects of Capeweed (Arctotheca calendula). Sabroll Leaf Nutrient Concentrate naturally 'sweetens' paddocks where Capeweed exists, especially when flowering. Stock, with the exception of horses, can remain on Sabroll Leaf Nutrient Concentrate treated paddocks without adverse effects. This is particularly relevant if sheep are lambing, etc. However, it is preferable to remove stock for 1 to 2 weeks from the treated paddocks till the sugar level is evident on the leaf. The increased sugar level will encourage stock to munch on the Capeweed without adverse effect. Sabroll Leaf Nutrient Concentrate helps to control Capeweed by encouraging late winter/early autumn seasonal heavy grazing. Initial application rate is 1 litre of Sabroll Leaf Nutrient Concentrate per hectare, applied in two lots in late winter/ early spring as follows: 1) Apply 500 mls of Sabroll Leaf Nutrient Concentrate per hectare, mixed with sufficient water to cover designated area. 2) Apply further 500 mls of Sabroll Leaf Nutrient Concentrate per hectare 7 to 14 days later. Sabroll Leaf Nutrient Concentrate has the added advantage of containing no potassium, as Capeweed will not thrive on soils with low potassium levels.
  1. Features:
      • provides plants with very high glucose & protein content
      • contains all essential micronutrients in pure organic form, which are immediately available to plants
      • eliminates need for potentially detrimental chemicals, pesticides or herbicides
      • counter-balances any trace deficiencies
      • has a balanced pH of 7.3 in concentrated form.
  2. Benefits:
      • easy to mix & apply when watering, plus drought-proofs plants by reducing water dependency
      • builds cellulose fibres & lignin fractions (strength)
      • achieves high brix levels by ensuring mineralisation (nutrient cycling) is balanced in soil
      • renews the chlorophyll molecular bonds (colour & carbohydrates or sugar - maintaining high brix levels)
      • drives root system vertically down into soil (instead of ‘J-curve’ problem)
      • adds high gloss to foliage for maximum photosynthesis (solar energy, starch content)
      • increases yield.
